How it is calculated
Volume = plot width × depth × height to raise. Loose soil to order = volume × (1 + compaction %). Loads = loose soil ÷ load size, rounded up. Rates are Patna market estimates for 2026; there is no official schedule for private filling work.
How many trolleys to fill a 30×40 plot by 3 ft?
30 × 40 × 3 = 3,600 cft. With 25% extra for compaction, that is 4,500 cft, or about 45 tractor trolleys.
